Shahe Khurasaan ka, Aata janaza he ye

Pito sar ehle azaa, Aata janaza he ye

The Prince of Khurasan corpse is being brought

Beat your heads in lamentation – his corpse is being brought

Fatema ke ghar se yeh, nikla yeh tabut hai

Ro-o ay ehle azaa, Aata janaza he ye

From the house of Fatima another corpse is being lifted

Lament O mourners – his corpse is being brought

Shehre Khurasaan mei, Maare gaye shaahe deen

Wiraan Madina huwa, Aata janaza he ye

In the far away land of Khurasan, our master has been murdered

Madina has been grief stricken again – his corpse is being brought

Ehle falak saath hai, Sar khule Jibreel hai

Shor yehi hai bapa, Aata janaza he ye

The angels are mourning as well, Jibraeel is in grief

You can hear the cries of  – his corpse is being brought

Mamune maloon ne, Zehr diya Shaah ko

Rote hai aaj Mustafa, Aata janaza he ye

Mamoon the cursed poisoned our Imam
